Please note that is only a draft idea of how the initial welcome page might look. Links from here would take the reader directly to Woodsmoke where they would also see connections to the supporting information, stories, histories or what ever is relevant to the main story. This area will hopefully increase with time and be even more interesting which is why Woodsmoke is more a project rather than just a story. It also means that you can add or edit the story at anytime.
You can add anything you wish of course but I would think that contributions from other people should only be added once they have paid and are involved. That way, they will have read and understood the following:

Other areas of research and information; stories and accounts can be added to add value to the central story, Woodsmoke.
Contributions can only be accepted from signed up members of the project and all material must support the story to add interest and relevance. We will not include any political comment; past or present as the main point of the whole story is to describe what actually happened. This not to be seen as a political or social commentary platform in any way.
All inclusions accepted are assumed to be freely available elsewhere or properly acknowledged to any copyright owners, past or present. The only function of the supportive material must be to expand and inform the context of the story timeline.
The project accepts no responsibility for copyright infringements and assumes that permission is granted properly for the free use in support of the story. Contributions will be removed should there be any question on this matter.
Images
Images cannot be copied from the project website to be used elsewhere. This function is disabled but because screen grabs are even so, a risk, we will add an unobtrusive watermark to each image so that the contributor would be able to recognise and establish originality in the event of any argument.
All personal images are assumed to be copyright free to be included although full acknowledgment will be made.
